How can I get prices?

There are three options:
A) GET IT INSTANTLY ONLINE! When viewing an item on the site, click "Get Instant Price" (or "View Price"). A dialog will open where you can enter your name and contact details (email or phone). Once submitted, the price will instantly display on the page! You can also sign in to your account to view pricing and manage inquiries.
B) Give us a call at (616) 868-1111. We would be happy to help you. Please have the asset number or stock number ready.
C) Stop-in, we are located in Alto, MI. Feel free to stop by anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday.

Why Aren't Our Prices Listed?

Many customers ask us why we don’t list all our prices online. The bottom line is the value of used machines are hard to determine, therefore those numbers are valuable to us because they take time and thought to determine. Also, many competitors shop our prices to sell their own machines. In exchange for that information, we ask for your contact details via our 'Get Instant Price' form or for you to log in, give us a call, or email us at sales@vanderzielmachinery.com.

Why didn't I receive the quote in my email?

Occasionally, the emailed quotes get flagged as spam so you many need to check your spam or trash folder. If it is not there, please give us a call and we would be happy to help.

How do I create a Log-in?

Click "Create Account" in the top-right corner of the page. You will be prompted to fill out a registration form. Alternatively, click the user/settings icon and choose "Sign In" or "Create Account".

What if I forgot my password?

Click “Forgot your password?” on the login screen, it will ask for your email and send you an email that will walk you through resetting your password

How can I change my password?

When logged in, click the User icon in the top-right corner of the page, select "Profile" from the dropdown menu under settings, and update your password under your profile settings.

What is "New Equipment"?

These are brand new, never-been-used machines. We keep a large inventory of new machines in stock on our floor, and we can also custom order other listings. If you don't see what you need, let us know!

What is "Used Equipment"?

These are our listings for used/previously owned machinery. Most are in stock in our warehouse. We run and test every used machine and provide video documentation of it running before it is sold.

Shipping - NEW Machines

Shipping Info:
Machines are available to ship Common Carrier or Local Pickup.
Please be aware of the following Common Carrier Policies:

Deliveries do not have an exact delivery appointment (only a general day)

It is assumed you have the ability to unload machinery in a reasonable time frame (trucks will not have a lift gate)

You are expected to thoroughly inspect for damage before unloading or signing for equipment (please refuse shipment if machine is damaged and unacceptable to you)

Shipping - USED Machines

We will load onto your truck at no charge. Also, we can pass along a couple freight brokers that we have worked with in the past to get you quotes.

Is your warehouse open to the public?

Absolutely! We are open anytime from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, you are welcome at any time. If you would like to talk to a specific salesman or see a machine under power it is best to call ahead to schedule.

What is the 30 Day Guarantee that you offer?

We operate with the philosophy “If you don’t like it you don’t own it” if you get one of our machines and are not completely satisfied please let us know. We will either fix it so that you are happy or you have the option to send the machine back in the same condition that it left, and we will return your money in full. Freight is on buyer both ways.

Is the machine running?

Every machine, unless marked AS-IS, is checked out and run to make sure that all functions operate as they should. If we find issues we replace the parts or let you know what is wrong and let you make the decision. We take a video of every machine running before it leaves our facility.

Are tooling and accessories included with the machine?

We sell basic machines with no accessories, or fully tooled. All accessories or tooling that is included with the machine are in the pictures. We also sell new tooling and accessories separately.

What does "Priced AS-IS" mean?

We will not checkout or fix the machine, this gives our customers who are looking for a project machine at a lower cost an affordable option. When you purchase this machine we will load it on your truck though we will not offer a return.

Where can I get parts for my machine?

Check with us. We may be a dealer for that line or may know where to get you can get them.

How did Vander Ziel Machinery Sales start?

Vander Ziel Machinery Sales Inc officially started in 1996. Steve Vander Ziel, our founder & President, worked with industrial machinery while in partnership with his father in previous ventures. The machinery area continued to grow until Steve spun-off the used machinery business into Vander Ziel Machinery. We are family owned and operated for 26 years!

Where is the closest airport?

Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR), approximately 15 minutes away.

Do you accept trade-Ins?

Absolutely, send us some pictures of your equipment.

Do you offer Financing?

We do not offer financing though we do have several different financing companies that we can refer you to.

Can I purchase machinery online?

Yes! You can add eligible items to your Shopping Cart and proceed to checkout online. We securely accept online card payments powered by Stripe. During checkout, you can select whether you would like to arrange freight shipping or perform a local pickup at our HQ in Alto, MI.
